i love it

Nothing brings more joy to my heart than the fact that I occasionally inspire someone. That's not a bad list, either.

Eddie Arnold had a voice almost as sweet as Jim Reeves did. Did you know that "The Dance" was written by a guy who lives at Tybee Island, Georgia? I love that song. I play it often because it's a good finger-picking number on the guitar.

I had to leave two of my favorites, Marty Robbins and Roger Miller, off my list because I ran out of room. Just damn!

"El Paso" and "King of the Road" should have been in there somewhere.

I agree and I agree.
First off... Oh, hell yes about Mr. Reeves. He was right there in my mind with Eddie Arnold, probably because I have a tape with those two together on it.
Second item.. Oh, Dear Gawd YES to Roger Miller. I got done, looked at my list and actually asked outloud, "Now, what kind of a list is this, with not one Roger Miller song on it?" Then, I remembered that he's in a class by himself (as are YOU) and felt all kindsa better.

Acidman,
Sometime when you have time, tell the readers about the world's longest carwash that happens every year on the highway to Tybee Island over the Memorial Day weekend.
I hear it's still going on after 19 years!

Reeves' "He'll Have to Go", "Four Walls", and "Mexicali Rose" are all great & should have been in top 100 along with Arnold's "Make the World Go Away".

Roger Miller and I were separated at birth. I understand "You Can't Rollerskate in a Buffalo Herd".

"Stand by Your Man"? Not even Wynette's best.

The list is slanted toward the last 30 years, or else "Don't Fence Me In", "Back in the Saddle Again", "Sioux City Sue", "Cool Water", "Ghost Riders", etc., etc., etc.
