want a free puppy?

Jack doesn't live across the street from me anymore. His mama hooked back up with her ex-husband and she and the kids moved to a double-wide trailer out on Fort Howard Road, a few miles away from the Crackerbox. I am going to miss Jack a lot.

He's been like a semi-son to me for almost three years.

Katie, The Fertile Rottweiler, is down to five puppies now. One more died, and my neighbors have managed to find homes for two others. Now, they have a big sign propped up against their mailbox saying "FREE ROTTWEILER PUPPIES!." You have to look at the sign up close to see the codicil ("Mix") at the bottom.

Does "Brownie" look like a Rottie to you?

Those puppies are as cute as puppies.

Broad forehead, yes. Markings? no way. That's gonna be one big dog, though.

Dear Rob - First, you get screwed out of your relationship with Quinton and now Jack moves away? As Dax would say ... "Just damn". I'm glad you had a great time in Costa Rica and welcome back. In an earlier post you questioned whether you could "start" blogging again. As far as I'm concerned, you never stopped. You're still a daily "must check" and I hope you don't start doubting yourself. Hang in there old son ... you're too good a writer and thinker to stop now. All the best, Terry

she definitely has the facial shape of a rottie, but looks like her momma got knocked up by a lab or a chow, perhaps, judging by the color. definitely a cutie, though!

I think Katie got nailed by a big Golden Retriever that was roaming the neighborhood for a while. "Brownie" takes a lot after his daddy and yes--- he's going to be a BIG dog.

I'm in love. A male friend of mine told me that I didnt need a man. I needed a dog.

I'd drive down to South GA to pick that puppy up in a heartbeat, except I only blend poodle puppies (and kittens) anymore. Did anyone call the professor?

Maybe it'll make a good house dog when it's a little past blender-age, but I'm sure it'll be in a good home by them.

Mixed with what?

I am entering this post into Carnival of the Dogs for you. There were NO ENTRIES this week (Mickey posts it on Saturday mornings), so I figure this week I will try to push and dredge some more for it.

If I didn't live 3000 miles away from you, I'd be picking that dog up tomorrow.

He's adorable! Thanks so much for having him in this weeks Carnival of the Dogs :) I hope he finds a great home.
