Gut Rumbles

slackard

I believe that I promised to call someone this morning, but I didn't do it. I was busy packing for my trip and trying to clean up my kitchen so that I won't have maggots crawling all over the ceiling when I get back home. (I don't know how long I'll be gone)

Please forgive me, darlin.' Duty called.

I'm taking one small bag and my laptop with me on an open-ended trip. I don't know when I'll be back. If I don't like where I find myself staying (although I believe that I will), I'll just pick up and go elsewhere.

I've been working since I was twelve years old. Everything I worked FOR all of my life fell apart on me in July of 2001. Now, I have a shitpot full of money and time on my hands. I'm going out to see the world. I'm still young enough to enjoy it and old enough to appreciate the experience.

This will be the last entry you see here for a while, unless I find a good internet connection or a friendly cafe where I'm headed. I'll write, but I probably won't post anything. Thanks to everyone who made GUT RUMBLES so much fun.

Adios, amigos!

I can relate to your pain.. Don't lose contact with Quinton, he needs you more than you need him, whether SHE realizes it or not.

An ex-du toit. Been there. Done that.

Make up for all the graveyard shifts and for all the times you watched the geese fly over without shooting them and for not busting someone who deserved it in the snot locker. Have a ball!

Stay safe, and watch your back. Traveling with an American passport can be dangerous these days.

Enjoy yourself.

But stay away from the ganja this time, OK?

You don't write so well when you're fucked up on mind-altering substances.

Keep the shiny side up and the tires on the road. Mind the wind. Watch for black ice. Check the oil now and then. Drop a line sometimes and for sure when you turn around and head for home. Safe trip.
