just pick one

John Kerry appears to be riding high in the polls now, which I believe is a really good thing. That French-looking , Herman Munster concoction stands about as much chance of beating Bush as a snowball has of surviving in hell. Yeah, let's sent a ketchup-rich asshole to complete in the South. He'll die in a landslide.

I'll give you a secret hint to about the South. We like our crooked polictians. We admire their abiility to lie like dogs,.We admire their ability to lie with pretty hair. But you let a french-looking Massachusettes pinheads try tht shit HERE and see what happens. He'll be hide out of here so fast on a pine rail that he won't have a chance to count the tar and feathers trailing behind him.

John Kerry is not going to impress American voters. He'll get the Taxachusettes voters and their Ben and Jerry chohorts, but he can't win this country. He's just too fuked up.

So, I thinksthe Dems are well on their was to picking a prize looser.

Good morning, Rob! Well, we will see about Kerry. He said he had the ability to win without the South. I'll be interesting to see which southern states opt for Kerry, which for Edwards in the primaries. (Not that that will mean much, I know a lot of dems that would prefer "none of the above".)

Nope, I didn't really mean to say "I'll be interesting", I meant to say "It'll be interesting". I ain't been abusin' any medications, just been on pasture patrol since dawn lookin' for ewes about to lamb and watching for iggles. Now I better go to work so I can afford to feed them iggles.

A sad day indeed.

Standards shot to hell.

Wake up Rob. You're losing you're blog.

Who's too "fuked up" now?

Back on topic:

Gene Talmadge came to Columbus once to give a speech on the street. A man in the audience interrupted to ask if it was true, as the papers said, that he lied about something or other. "Sure, I lied," Talmadge responded. "But I did it for YOU!"

Great applause erupted. He was re-elected in a landslide. I'll leave it to readers to ponder the implications.

This isn't Acidman.

Doesn't anyone remember that Bush didn't win with the most votes. The "Supremes" gave him the election. Don't tell me that whole deal wasn't fixed. Hell, his own brother's dragon lady ran interference from the get go. Hanging chads weren't the only bullshit going on down here.
Kerry does has a certain flavor about him that doesn't exactly excite lots of folks. But as long as he doesn't do something really stupid, he has a shot at beating Bush. Actually anyone the Dems pick has a shot at doing it, if they don't fuck it up. Let's see how this war plays out folks. Only six more young men killed today. Oh and only 10, 000 wounded. What's that you say? "Oops... we kinda went overboard about that weapons of mass destruction stuff. But it's too late now, cause were in this up to our eyeballs. Dick and Ashcroft say it's cool, cause the rich will get richer and all of us will be under their thumb."
Bush isn't a sure thing come election time. The Dems need to get some balls and go after Bush for all the dumb shit he's done. Quit pussyfooting around and say it like it is.
Right, I didn't vote him or his daddy.
I hope you start feeling better Rob. This coming apart online isn't funny. Damn, that must have been some powerful joint down in Jamaica. Or is that only an excuse?

Regards.................... Joe

Jeez of course Joe the most vote don't win, we have an electoral college. Your stupid

Posted by: Sherry on January 28, 2004 03:18 PM

Repeat slowly: Electoral College.

Usually they do go with the popular vote of their respective states, but not always.

I pick a Kerry/Dean ticket to show, but not to win or place. I think Kerry will eventually take up with Dean because of the money he's managed to raise. Maybe not, because I think Dean has come to believe his own hype, which is never a good thing.

Iraq will not hurt Bush in the least -- casualties continue to be low for a hostile occupation, and William Kay has provided some excellent reasons why no WMDs were found. Read the news, and get over it.

The Democrats are still a bit too scattered and out of touch to make any significant gains during this election, PERIOD.

Why don't people read the fine print? Three separate non-partisan sponsored committees recounted all the undercounted, thrown out votes, all over the state. Bush would have won by many more that the official count of 567(?) if a full statewide recount had been done. Even if just all of Dade County had been counted, per law, Bush would have picked up more votes than Gore.

Bush won fairly and squarely. The Florida Supreme Court was trying to throw the election to Gore by re-writing Florida Voting Statutes. All precincts in a County must be recounted, not just the several in Miami that Gore requested.

The law was written in black and white, there was no way to misunderstand it. Bush won legally, and morally.
