i am wired

I have a nice wi-fi laptop that I've been writing my novel on. I can hit the road and take that thing with me. In the right spots, I can hook up to my internet connection and blog while I write to the hard-drive with the book.

I want to do that.

I want to meet some people who have been readers of mine for a long time. I am interested in the wimmen, but I want to meet some of the guys, too. I can cover a lot of ground in a week and I have a damn fine truck. I am not going to haul ass and forget about Quinton, but I have the time, the opportunity and the finances to do something that not many people have the chance to do.

I can explore.

Anybody in Tampa interested in meeting me?

Comments

You can always turn that truck around and head west to the Ozark mountains. Bring your guitar with that laptop.

Then turn towards Iowa I'd even paint my toenails red!

On your road trip stop on by Oregon. I would love to meet your Southern ways.

Since 1967, I have lived in Tampa and the Tampa Bay area most of the time. Am I close enough to Tampa proper to qualify for an answer of yes?

Just heard on Fox News that a Judge in Franklin, Tennessee, threw out a ticket for flashing lights (to let on-coming driver's know of the up-coming speed trap). Flashing your car lights is now officially a form of our protected right of free speech.

Lexia, I was born in Kansas City! Missouri, of course. Lots of family in those parts.

Attended a Renaissance Festival outside KC on the Scotish weekend and loved it. One day I intend to go back dressed as a wench. Of course I've taken in a few Professional baseball games there too.But the thing I love about Missouri is that I'm only one and half hours from Branson and I love those shows. Now that I'm retired a friend of mine sees me performing in one of those theaters. Who knows I may do it. I do know that I want to dedicate my life to helping others and healing. I volunteer my time to the Ozark Research Institute. A non-profit organization dedicated to healing. We dowse a bit too. I have a novel inside me but I've got writer's block. I want to reach the world in how I survived teaching in public schools with manic-depression and other quite tramatic events in my adult life. I am a champion for battered women and sexually abused children as well as an artist in music, art , and drama. The material's there, I just need a jump start. Acidman's blogs are good for me and I enjoy reading folks comments too. I'm a real people person. Always have been.
Here's to KC. I'm native Arkansan.

That posting was for ANNA

You other women lining up out there, might as well take a step back and out of line. If I meet Acidman first, he's going to be one happy, busy TALL MAN. That comes with a guarantee. Roscoe's going to think he's in heaven. Oh, how I want to jump that man's bones!!!

And to those drooling, envious men out there (you know who you are), I'll be real careful of his health. I know he's capable of any challenge. I want him to write dozens and dozens of books for his readers' enjoyment.

Acidman, please visit me first, I'm closer to you than Tampa. I'll make it worth your effort.

s/b I know he's up to any challenge.

I live just a couple of hours away from Tampa. Bwahahahahaa!

Um-- are you still so sure you want to come down here?

Posted by: Andrea Harris on November 8, 2003 09:34 AM

Lady Mae, Are you assuming we ladies just want sex out of Acidman? He's had plenty of that kind in his lifetime as I can tell from his postings. I would enjoy his friendship and talents far above what I could generate under the sheets. I'd get off watching Quinton and Jack playing myself. I'm a great cook. My younger son always said I put plenty of love in my meals and sounds like the boys enjoy eating. There's more to a relationship than satisfying Roscoe.I believe he's like the rest of us waiting on that special chemistry. BONDING. We internet explorers live in a fantasy world, but isn't it fun?Good Luck, hope all your fantasies come true!

Just curious...is Lady Mae and Ms. Anna the same person or are they "sharing" the same email address?

Posted by: Cindi on November 8, 2003 12:59 PM

Damnit, Cindi, now you're going to get me banned from my sister's computer. She introduced me to reading Gut Rumbles, but I thought I'd just add some spice to life, especially when I can I sneek in my comments on her internet dime when I'm visiting. Guess I should have changed her e-mail address to mine, but I didn't expect to hear back from Rob. Well Cindi, you've shut down the high-tech pipeline, back to the old dial-up route. Hate those disconnects and time-outs. Thanks alot for a good day.

I'm off for home now. Too much to hope that she won't see this, isn't it?

Posted by: Ms Anna on November 8, 2003 01:45 PM

Cripes, now I've really done it, just noticed that I didn't change Ms Anna on that quick good-bye y'all. Well, this day is rolling downhill, faster than I care to go.
