Okay, folks, I'm off to Mississippi

I will be back, blogging tirelessly (that's a blogger in a pickup truck running on a bare rim and throwing sparks in his wake) when I return Thursday evening. You will have updates about those dirty repulper shafts and the paddle-stuff I'm going to investigate. I will thrill you with descriptions of the beautiful place I'm going and the wonderful adventures I am certain to have there. So, stay tuned.

Gee, for a dead guy, he's got a lively and interesting blog. I missed a lot of this stuff when he wrote it, so I'm glad to see it now - timeless stuff. When we went to the Mike Cross show, he seemed like a regular guy, charming and polite. I didn't realize at the time he was immortal...

Glad you're liking what you're reading.
And, I think it was his blend of charm, regular-guy-ness and immortality (that had already begun, and which was obvious, long before he died) that made him so attractive, compelling almost, to so many people.
As if he were a magnet and us so many pieces of steel...
