My deepest sympathies to everyone who has been grieved by Rob's passing. He was a man after my own heart in a way - he thought out (very) loud a lot. That is tantamount to the act of opening oneself to the outside world, a giving act indeed. My prayers are for you, Rob's family and friends.

My condolences to the family and friends of the Acidman.

I just got an e-mail from him last week. We were commenting about a news article I shared with him. He always had time to enjoyed the irony of everyday life. Maybe enjoy is a bit much, but he sure loved to comment on it!

I never met the man, and only knew him through his writings and the far too few e-mails. Yet I feel like a close and dear riend has passed. It is a sad day, my prayers are with his family.

Never met Rob, but read his blog daily. Prayed for him when he was at Willingway. Wish I could come, but I have numerous onsites upcoming. He & you will be in my thoughts, Sam. God bless.

I was shocked to see this news on another blog. I used to read Rob's stuff daily, and admittedly haven't been back in quite a while. I send my condolences to one and all, as I understand the loss you all feel at this time. Rob was an original in a time of so much falsehood. His refreshing and pointed look at the world around us will be sorely missed.

Sam, I'm so very sorry about Rob. I hope he is now in peace, and we are all going to miss him. I never met the man, but corresponded with him several times and read his blog almost every day for the last several years. He was truly "one of a kind".

I've been reading this blog for sometime. I will certainly miss Acid man. I hope this isn't too inappropriate, but does anyone know how Rob died?
