June 28, 2006Services...If you plan to come to the services, would you please drop me a line at Savannahsam05 [at] yahoo.com and let me know you're coming? I have left my phone numbers back in Texas so those of you I have talked to over the last couple of days, I want to hear from you. Thank you everybody for the kind comments. ~Sam Comments
Thank you for giving us this information. My deepest sympathies to everyone who has been grieved by Rob's passing. He was a man after my own heart in a way - he thought out (very) loud a lot. That is tantamount to the act of opening oneself to the outside world, a giving act indeed. My prayers are for you, Rob's family and friends. Posted by: Tony G on June 28, 2006 12:13 PMMy condolences to the family and friends of the Acidman. I just got an e-mail from him last week. We were commenting about a news article I shared with him. He always had time to enjoyed the irony of everyday life. Maybe enjoy is a bit much, but he sure loved to comment on it! I never met the man, and only knew him through his writings and the far too few e-mails. Yet I feel like a close and dear riend has passed. It is a sad day, my prayers are with his family. Scott Posted by: Scott on June 28, 2006 12:21 PMNever met Rob, but read his blog daily. Prayed for him when he was at Willingway. Wish I could come, but I have numerous onsites upcoming. He & you will be in my thoughts, Sam. God bless. Posted by: Tennessee Budd on June 28, 2006 01:01 PMI was shocked to see this news on another blog. I used to read Rob's stuff daily, and admittedly haven't been back in quite a while. I send my condolences to one and all, as I understand the loss you all feel at this time. Rob was an original in a time of so much falsehood. His refreshing and pointed look at the world around us will be sorely missed. Posted by: radtec on June 28, 2006 01:27 PMSam, I'm so very sorry about Rob. I hope he is now in peace, and we are all going to miss him. I never met the man, but corresponded with him several times and read his blog almost every day for the last several years. He was truly "one of a kind". Posted by: Bob on June 28, 2006 01:59 PMSam, just send you an email...Forgot to give you my number, just in case. Will send another. ; ) Posted by: Key on June 28, 2006 05:18 PMI've been reading this blog for sometime. I will certainly miss Acid man. I hope this isn't too inappropriate, but does anyone know how Rob died? Posted by: Telly on June 28, 2006 05:18 PMI emailed ya, too, Sam... Posted by: Stevie on June 28, 2006 05:46 PMPost a comment
