working on it

I have a new email address. It's (Clever, isn't it? It's made up from my daughter's name, my son's name and my old football number.) I threw in the towel on my old one and started fresh. I'll fix it so my comments go there, because I need that to maintain my spam Blacklist, which has been overrun in just the past day.

I also set up a Comcast email service, which is for special friends only. Once I make sure that it works, I may let a few people know THAT address, but it won't be many.

I'm a computer fucktard, but I'm doin' the best I can. If you're bored, send me an email. I wanna see if I get it. The address is

If you're REALLY nice, I may give you the Comcast address, too.

Oh, you'll get email all right. You just put yourself on every spam list in the cosmos.

Oh.. I might get spammed? That'll be something new for ME.

Congratulations on the new email address. Hope it works out all right.

I, on the other hand, have had the same Yahoo address for aboooout five years now, I think, and I rarely ever get spam.

I don't know why.
I just attribute it to Paul.

And, I'm gonna give your new one a test myself...

Look at that. Deep down, you really are a softy, aren't you?

Incoming. (I'm bored).
Actually, I've switched from AOHell to a Yahoo subthingie through SBC/(now)ATT. It pretty much sucks but the price is decent and they have a fairly effective spam filter, which is pretty good about weeding out spam of which I get 20-ish per day. I still have to look at it to make sure it didn't get something relevant like my reciept for my smokes which I accidentally deleted yesterday, then just hit empty and it goes away. Straight Yahoo ought to have something similar for you to set up, I should think.

I tried sending you a note, and it just bounced right back at me. Maybe the new spam filter just doesn't like me.

Dude, you really didn't want to post your actual email address on a public webpage. You've almost guaranteed that you'll be on every spammers Christmas list. If you're interested in displaying, but not actually typing, your email address, go here and get your address encoded. It will look display like this:

but it won't actually get parsed as what it looks like.

Physics Geek is right about not wnating to put it on your webpage, though his "encoding" trick doesn't work terribly well AFAIK. The spammers know how to read them that way, too.

The best way is probably to put it up as a graphic. People can look at it and read it, but computers can't so easily.

I'll give a shot, its slow right now. I've got a Yahoo address also, never get spammed.
