it's a girl!

I'm a proud blog-father again! This time, I've sowed my wild oats as far as Canada. Luckily for my blog-daughter, she's a lot better looking than her daddy.

Go check out lemons and lollipops. And keep your lecherous hands offa my daughter!

Comments

And I'll second the wish- keep yer lecherous hands offa my wife as well. Feel free to stimulate her intellectually though. :)

How far does a blog family tree go? Are there blog grandbabies?

Looks like Eric and I are the Blog-Uncles, eh?

Robbo, you are one Prolific Bastidge.

Yay, I even have uncles! ... I just have one question...if Rob is my blog daddy, do I have a mama? How do these things work in the Blog world? Maybe it's an asexual reproductive thing. I hope not for pappy's sake.
Oy, I have so much to learn....

Lisa--in blogging there are a whole lot more 'muthas' than mommas

You already look like a pro Lisa. Nice page.

lol at what Guy said...

And, Lisa... if there is a chick you read a lot whom you like as much as Rob, who also mighta had a hand in tipping your decision to blog to "yes", I guess that'd be your blog Mom.

Rob's my blog Faddah/Daddy/inspiration, too, and my blog is because of lotsa "mutha" women... (as in my own mutha who was nuts and who made my life hell, Dad's (my bio-Dad) current bc who is also a bitch on wheels and my guy's ex who is yet anutha mutha.)

So, in my particular case, the shit happened the opposite of "normal".

As in: A buncha women planted the seeds for me to someday need the theraputic aspects of blogging (or just plain "therapy") and Rob's was the first blog I ever read, after typing "my ex wife is a cunt" into a search bar. (I was trying to see if there were any other women who're as evil as Eric's ex and my mutha. There are. *giggle*)

Anyway, I typed in that search phrase and Rob was the first (through about 10th) result.

So, I clicked the link, read about half of his archives in one sitting (we're talking about three years ago) and fell in love with the man's resiliency, brains, balls, heart, truthfulness, rage... and his ability to articulate it all so intelligently.

He was not only still standing after all that bitch had done to him, he was standing, shaking his fists at the sky and SCREAMING about the injustice of it all.
I immediately fell in long-distance love with the guy and woulda killed for him from the first.

Finding Rob was a gift from God for me.

I was literally awe-struck by him.
So much so that I didn't even comment or anything for about a year.
As much as I loved 'im, I was that much scared of pissing him off. (Truly, the first year or so I blogged, my hands used to SHAKE when I'd see an email/comment from him... *grin*)

Anyway, after about a year or so, seeing how much good it was doing Rob to get it out and get feedback on what he was going through, I finally started a blog myself.

Started on Xanga, moved to Blogspot and was "rescued" by Munu and there I still am.

My bio-Dad will tell anybody who'll listen that blogging is the best thing, along with horses, that I've ever done in the "saving myself" realm.
He also thinks, and tells everybody in NJ, that Rob walks on water just about, because he is The One who lit the trail for me and showed me there was a way out AND how to do it.

So, in my case, Rob is a single-parent Dad who has custody of my heart, respect, loyalty and love.

Women may have created my neurosis and never-ending rage and tried to kick my metaphorical balls halfway up into my throat, but Rob is the one who gave me back my "balls" and helped me stand and walk on.

When Rob's your Dad, you don't need a "mutha".

Welcome to the family sis!
Does that make Eric and Elisson are my uncles too?
