quotes of the day

"If government spending can’t withstand public scrutiny, then the money shouldn’t be spent.”--- Sen. Barack Obama

And...

"I'll just say this about the so-called porkbusters. I'm getting damn tired of hearing from them. They have been nothing but trouble ever since Katrina. We in Mississippi have not asked for more than we deserve. We've been very reasonable."--- Sen. Trent Lott

Guess which one is a small-government, fiscally-responsible Republican? Got-dam. Ask me again why I ain't gonna vote anymore.

Trent Lott's attitude seems to be, "Do NOT look behind the curtain! The great and powerful Wizard of Mississippi has spoken!" What utter bullshit. Lott seems to want business as usual, no rocking of the boat and no accountability for wasting taxpayer's dollars. That's certainly a bold stand, one that I would expect from a career politician with his sucking mouth attached firmly to the federal budget pie.

Here's the time for YOU to "get real," Trent. Porkbusters aren't the "trouble." YOU ARE!

No wonder he doesn't want anybody watching over HIS shoulder as he pisses incredible amounts of tax money away--- he might have to defend idiocy such as this.

Whatta maroon.

Believe me, Rob, I understand the desire to not vote. However, if you do that, the big-government guys win. Mail a letter to your representatives and senators, if they're not completely useless. If enough people do it, they may change their minds about stuff.

And please don't give up voting. You can tell them you'll vote for a Libertarian or something instead of them. It was people voting for Perot that cost Bush 1 his re-election, and people voting for Nader that caused the 2000 brouhaha, remember.

Barack Obama said that because he knows it won't pass.
Barack is part of the Daley crime family. Never forget that.

You can vote Libertarian.
I was, am, thinking of starting a new party called The Constitutional Republican Party.
Name says it all.

Libertarian... for when the utterly hopeless haven't quite given up yet.

I'm going with what this guy says: http://www.fredoneverything.net/LiveWell.shtml

PLEASE.....Someone give me just ONE example of a real, ethical, moral, "practicing" small-government, fiscally-responsible Republican politician on the national level (or pretty much any level of government). I have never seen one, although they all claim to be one, usually right before they are caught in major corruption scandals. Republicans are nothing but snake oil salesmen. They talk a great "conservative" game, but wind up delivering NOTHING EVERYTIME.

A non-vote is still a vote! It says "I accept whatever you decide"

Rep. Ron Paul (RINO-Texas). He's a RINO because he knew he couldn't get elected to Congress running as a Libertarian.
