good advice

Here's some good advice for those who may need it tonight. From my own personal research, I've found that most of what he says is true, especially the part about chunk-blowing looking better through beer goggles than through blood-shot, semi-sober eyes that burn like two coals in a buffalo-dung fire the next morning.

My beverage of choice tonight will be decaffinated iced tea. I'm not going anywhere and I won't be setting off any fireworks. In fact, I hope that I am sound asleep when the New Year rolls in.

I'm just no damn fun anymore.

I heard that shit, Rob. I'm at home alone - there's just no limit to the kind of trouble I could (would) have gotten into just 2-3 years ago under these circumstances.

These days, though, I just shrug my shoulders and figure it ain't worth it. Hell, it's not even that I don't want to lose half my shit and all my kids, I actually like being married.

Eh. This year can kiss my ass anyway, it pretty much sucked.

You're plenty of fun, blog-daddy. Just the non-alcoholic kind. ;p

Here at home, too....hubby says it's amateur night. Plus snow is now falling to drop your chance of survival on the dark roads after midnight down just a bit to boot.

Glad I stopped in to check on you.

Happy and very healthy New Year, Rob.

My new year will be a quiet one also. Too many people out drinking and driving.

Rob --

I hope 2006 brings many good things for you. Mostly, I hope you're kind to yourself.

Happy New Year!

Yep, raging party animals here.
Played Yahtzee with friends and actually made it to 10:30 !!
I got up to go to the bathroom around midnight, does that count for bringing in the new year?
