stupid rules

I can understand the thinking behind this bullshit rule, but that doesn't mean it's not a bullshit rule anyway.

Our troops should have been allowed to keep that dog.

to kill a healthy dog... man, that is sick. no reason for that at all. rules or not, there had to have been other options than killing it.

I can understand the rule also, but as a soldier I would've found a way to keep the dog without all the hoopla. Shit, I just got a dog myself. Man I'm sad about this story.

These soldiers are living in a region where they don't even have much access to their families via phone or email, in a country where rules don't matter.

No harm in allowing the pooch to roam, but seems to have done a lot of damage in destroying it. Damn shame.

Glad to hear they decided not to court martial the interrogator who fired rounds into the air, scaring the hell out of a scum-bag, thus thwarting other terrorist attacks. The forfeit of pay was another crap-ass move, we should all send his family money and tell the world what we think of archaic military rules.

Give Oddball another hug and scratch her belly for all of us, please.
