November 27, 2003a linkI believe that Oddball has figured out that I'm her daddy now. She follows me around everywhere I go and does that stupid doggie-twirl-in-a-circle thing every now and then just to show me that she's happy. She goes outside to do her business and she comes right back in when she's done. I put a pillow on the floor in the computer room and she lays there next to me while I blog. She puts up with the cigarette smoke and my cursing when I read the news. I believe that we have formed a link. My dog likes me and I like her. (UPDATE: My dog resembles a pig. Bejus! What have I done?)

A completely happy dog is a dog that's allowed on the bed. You get in, shut your eyes, and plunk! something drops next to you. You develop also a slight but eternal coating of dog hair. Posted by: Ron Hardin on November 27, 2003 11:32 AMAre you going to post any pictures of Oddball? Happy Thansgiving! Posted by: Starhawk on November 27, 2003 12:07 PMI meant Happy Thanksgiving, obviously. It's not that I can't spell worth a shit, which I can't but I can't type worth a shit either. Posted by: Starhawk on November 27, 2003 12:09 PMOT: Happy Thanksgiving, dude. Reading your stuff every day makes me thankful for freedom of speech. Don't always agree with you, don't always like what you are saying, but I always read your posts because some of your posts resonate like a pure bell tone. Keep up keeping up! Posted by: oldgeek on November 27, 2003 12:10 PMYou mean the pig looks like your dog. Don't insult a dog like that, unless it's a DAMN YANKEE. LOL Rename her . . . She is obviously deserving of a good name. Call her "Princess" Somehow I think she would like that! Posted by: jb on November 27, 2003 02:54 PMOpps, Happy Thanksgiving my man.. Posted by: RightwingTexan on November 27, 2003 11:31 PMThe verb denoting the action of the happy, twirling doggie is "jubilate." Posted by: Brett on November 28, 2003 12:36 PMOh darlin' - please don't tell me this is a case of a dog growing to resemble its owner, or vice-versa... you're far too ornery and handsome a creature for that. Posted by: inkgrrl on November 28, 2003 03:25 PMHi...I´m just surfed in and want to say hello!
