November 26, 2003knocking on heaven's doorIf you want to play music with a bunch of strangers, that's a great song to perform. Three chords, easy words and a lot of good opportunities for doing "oooo-oooo" in the background. If you can't play some kind of lead on that song, put down the guitar before I have you dragged off and shot. Yeah. I like that one. Comments
Did Wanda get that monitor speaker for you? How much did you play last night? etc. Posted by: Ms Anna on November 26, 2003 03:28 PMIf I Could Change the World From my perspective . . . that was Eric's best! Even better than After Midnight. IMHO Posted by: jb on November 26, 2003 05:00 PMhttp://home.att.net/~rhhardin7/imuscut.heavensgate.ra (175kb) If this comes up in connection with Zevon, and the Keep Me in Your Mind, try Cyndi Boste's ``Think of Me'' Ya we played that one last night. There was a monitor this time but the back up singer and guitarist bailed out. If you get my meaning. If you catch my drift. Posted by: Willy on November 26, 2003 06:14 PMWilly, he did say he didn't want to play back-up for the entire night. Posted by: Ms Anna on November 26, 2003 07:11 PMHave a listen to the Warren Zevon version on his album The Wind. Recorded when he knew he was dying of cancer. Very moving. Hi...I´m just surfed in and want to say hello!
