September 22, 2003blog meetupI'm going to keep reminding people of this. I want to meet some fellow bloggers in Dahlonega on Saturday, Novemember First, 2003. I also am moving the starting time back to 3:00 in the afternoon at the recommendation of Recondo 32, who will be coming with me again this year. He raises an interesting question about what time they turn off the lights and roll up the sidewalks in Dahlonega this time of year. Maybe we should get an early start. Y'all come, and if you don't feel like driving home afterward, you're welcome to stay in the cabin, as long as you don't mind sleeping on the floor and trusting Recondo 32, who is my Designated Driver, to cram you into the Crown Victoria for the ride home. If we have a lot of wimmen, I want to ride in the back seat with THEM. I'll cook breakfast in the morning, and by God, GRITS will be served. Here's a notice to denny. Recondo 32 says that if you want the handcapped parking space, you're going to have to beat him to it. You may have issues with paralysis, but Recondo has issues with parachute jumps and gunshot wounds. Gravity fucks him up anymore. That's why he doesn't drink much today and ALWAYS parks in a handicapped spot. He has the sticker, the license plate and the hang-tag to prove it on the Crown Vic, too. With any luck (meaning that she lies to her employer) the lovely Miss Georgia may be there for the weekend. Anyway, more details will be forthcoming. I'll be there and I hope that you come, too. Just think of the blog-fodder!!! You can meet me and decide if I'm really as big an asshole as the one I play on my blog.
