I'VE BEEN bojangled!!!
I might put it this way:
I knew a man, an Acidman who'd blog for you
While full of booze
He'd drink white zin, some vodka and some schnapps and then
He'd write "FUCK YOU!"
Then he'd shake his head, he'd shake his head
Make spittle fly all around.
Mister Acidman (BOOM BOOM BOOM! That's the bass guitar)
Mister Acidman (RRRIIINNNG-tinga-linga-ting-- that's the mandolin)
Mister Acidman (Yeoooowww---ummmm-- that's the fiddle)
Won't you rant...
(now all the instruments come together softly... lets hear the harmoica in the background.... a little more on the bass here.... that is beautiful... good job, everybody... just keep it up...)
Okay, who's in charge of the barking dog?... GET THAT FUCKER TO BARK RIGHT NOW OR I SWEAR I'LL SELL THE MUTT TO A KOREAN BUTCHER!!! KICK HIM IF YOU HAVE TO!!! GET THAT GODDAM DOG TO BARK!!! THE TAPE IS ROLLING!!! YOU'VE GOT ONE LAST CHANCE!!!
"Sing, Teddy!" Teddy didn't sing.
Okay, take two. Get me another dog. And get this whiney-ass Teddy-baby out of my studio.
Ooh, I like your take! I did dash mine off rather quickly, before the inspiration fled. I thought people might have great fun with it, including making up different wording.
Bojangle as a verb, now that's different too.
ok, I just picked myself up off the floor. Oh geez...I'm in pain.
Damn you and that mandolin! You make me wet when you play that thing
Awesome. had me laughing out loud in the office, a very good/bad thing . . .
Rob, curse you! Mr. Bojangles has been going through my head ALL day long thanks to this entry. The first few times it was fun, the 500th time it was beyond old . . . oh well, at least it's not a bad song . . .
Shouldn't he be blaming me?
I would blame you Jay, but it's Acidman's blog that brought the song to my attention, but if you want me to curse you then by all means I curse you too. There's plenty to go around. ! )
Thankfully the song didn't return in the morning and I refuse to read the post again. Very similar to the sarong post I don't plan on revisiting. ! )
Hey! I LIKED the sarong post!
