two topics

I get a lot of comments and some really shitty email if I write about abortion or race relations. I seldom receive reasoned arguments about either subject. I get a lot of that drivel that contains several inane sentences ending with (HA!), as if the dripwit thinks he's a verbal swordsman, which makes me consider the writer to be a blithering asswipe.

I believe that I said exactly that to THREE PEOPLE today in my response to the shit-stains they left on my page. You people know who you are if you bother to check your email.

As a kid from Kentucky who grew up in the segregated South, I've made my feelings about that time abundantly clear. I STILL have a problem with an ethnic group that votes over 90% Democrat, stays on the grievance plantation and sees racism every time it fucks up under the "leadership" of Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and Maxine Waters.

There IS some serious lock-step there, and I don't understand it. If you attempt to deny or rationalize that fact, you have your head stuck where the sun doesn't shine. Clarence Thomas (who was born in Pinpoint, Georgia), Thomas Sowell and Walter Williams are scorned by the same people who kiss Al Sharpton's fat, greasy ass. Bejus! If you make THAT kind of choice, you get what you deserve when you end up with the shit end of the stick. Don't whine to me.

If anybody out there wants to tell me what a bigot and a racist I am, just start out by telling me the difference between an "overseer" and a "driver" on a plantation. Tell me where the word "gullah" came from. Tell me what the Civil War was about, but also tell me why the cause is different now than it was for the people who fought it. Tell me all of that, and you can put a brillaint (HA!) at the end of a sentence, and MIGHT think that you have a brain in your head. I doubt it, but you're welcome to try.

Black people make up 12% of the population. They occupy 50% of the jail cells in this country. They are there because they commit 50% of the crime. Period. Tough shit if you don't LIKE it, but that's a fact.

You can walk through most of downtown Savannah, but ANYBODY can tell tourists where they DON'T NEED go at night. Where would that be? Most politely and in a politically-correct fashion, people say "West of MLK Boulevard or south of Liberty Street."

They DON'T call it "Darkytown" or "Crack Alley" or "Hoodlums R Us" or "The place in Savannah you would stick the tube to give the city an enema." But everybody knows where it is and why civilized people shouldn't go there after the sun sets, and the police collect the murder victims there every night. And usually, it's some black maniac killing another black "brutha."

If I were black, I would be appauled at how low my people have become AFTER experiencing slavery. Bejus! After 30 years of set-asides, give aways and legs-up, a LOT of the black community remains worse off NOW than it was during segregation.

These are facts. If you listen to so-called "black leaders," they NEVER WANT TO CHANGE ANYTHING! They want to point fingers, suck some more public money, excuse inexcusable behavior, get rich themselves and blame evey problem black people have on "racism."

Fine. Do that. Then, tell me WHY every city I visit on business trips has a "Don't Go There, Whitey Zone" which is ALWAYS Darkytown, Crack Alley, Thugs R Us and where you would put the tube to give the city an enema. I didn't make things that way. Black people did. They shit in their own nest and don't want to be responsible for it.

EVERYBODY KNOWS THIS FOR THE FACT IT IS!!! We just don't like to talk about it. We might be called "racists" if we did.

I live in a mixed neighborhood and I have black neighbors. My son has black friends over here. But those people don't go to the "Don't Go There, Whitey Zones" of Savannah, EITHER! That's why they live HERE, where their kids can play in the street and they don't have to put iron bars on their windows to keep footpads, crack-addicts and thieves out of their homes.

They got out of that shit-hole. Why isn't that kind of behavior encouraged?

Naw, they're acting white. Can't have that in the racist USA. If they keep doing that kind of thing, before you know it we'll have more Supreme Court Justices, successful businessmen and intellectual writers with dark complexion in mainstream America. Jesse, Al and Maxine might be forced to find REAL jobs.

My family crawled out of the coal mines of Kentucky and enjoyed the bright light outside. Blacks that don't do the same thing, with SO MANY ADVANTAGES today, deserve what they get.

There's my view about race in America today. And I STILL want that pisswit who told me how he "deals" with black people more often than I do to explain just how he does that. I treat them as individuals. You DON'T, do you? You treat them as "Black" and that makes them special in your compassionate heart. If you do THAT, you are a bigger racist than I ever thought about being.

I'm almost out of gas and spleen now, so I'll make my second point short and sweet. I oppose abortion. I personally believe that it is killing a baby and I like kids too much to say the procedure is okay.

But I also oppose a BAN on abortion because I understand human nature. Women will have them whether abortions are legal or not. But HTE ACT OF KILLING A BABY should NOT be reduced to some kind of wiggle-word such as "choice." Women who make that choice should NOT be congratulated and EVERY EFFORT should be directed at discouraging the kind of careless behavior that results in so many abortions every year.

When we live in a society where smoking cigarettes on private property is declared a criminal offense while abortion is encouraged, we have lost ourselves somewhere. Where the hell is our perspective?

Okay. I now am finished with my rant.

I am the 'pisswit' who said he deals with black people every day. I used the word 'deal' and the term 'black people' because that was the tone of your post/rant, that you basically paraphrased 'deal with black people at work' ...

so how do I 'deal' with black people more than you? Simple, my brother-in-law is black and his daughters, my three wonderful nieces, are mixed-race. More than a 1/3 of my neighbors are black. But mostly it is because my daughter is black. I don't think of them as 'black', I think of them as my brother-in-law, my nieces and my daughter.

Its when people like you categorize all 20some million 'black' people as some monolithic group of pathetic statistics, that FORCES me to consider my daughter's race and worry how YOU will look at my daughter if you saw her on the street years from now. From a post like this I'd assume you'd view her as a woman who gets welfare handouts and probably dates an ex-con.

Statistics and words you herald as truth but are so not, and the reason that racist attitudes still exist...

Geez, and I thought I got a ranting comment when I said I won't buy a Dixie Chicks CD ever again! HEY TRENT GET YOUR OWN FUCKING BLOG! A-man may not be politically correct, hell he may not be correct at all.......it doesn't matter, it's his place to talk like he wants! If you don't like it go someplace else.

Now, on to what I think hehehehe (sorry can't resist). I really don't know much about descrimitation and those issues and black crime stats, or anything like that. I know I grew up in a life of privilege and wasn't exposed to much of that at all. But I do know that I want people to treat me as a person, not a statistic, and I really question the validity of any person's arguement that requests anyone to be treated as a statistic.

My little brother is biracial, I live next door and across the street from black families, and I don't think of them as anybody but people. I wave, I talk to them same as anyone else. I won't treat my little brother different because he is half black. But I will kick his ass the first time he tries to pull any excuse that I don't understand something about him "cause he is black".

As far as abortion. I am totally with you on this on A-man. I strongly and firmly believe that abortion is murder. It is killing a baby, and nothing anyone says will ever convince me otherwise. But I also think that this type of killing has been made legal for too long, and too wide around the world for it to change, therefore, effort put into it is just plain stupid.

And finally, I find it very ironic that this Scott Peterson guy can be charged with murder of his unborn son, but that same son could have been aborted a few months previous?!?! hmmmmmmmm okay. well, I won't understand some things ever.

And now I have made comments long enough for a blog post of my own. So maybe I should get my own Friggin Blog!!! Oh wait, I have one!

Diver ~ In context would be consider an abreviation of 'slave driver'. OR a harsher, more severe overseer.

Gullah ~ It's either based on the creole useage OR the Nick Jr. show Gullah Gullah Island.......

And no, I don't think you're racist. Just someone who lives in the real world and has been given a real-world look at the life around him not an idealized vision spoon-feed by the liberals. ; )

What strikes me as funny is while A-man boo-hoos about Jesse Jackson and how Blacks supposedly have this victim mentality, he's lives in a culture where 'Whites' continue to enjoy superior protection of the law, better access to public resources (schools, medical care, etc.), 100% control of every institution in America, and yet there's still a disturbing number of them foraging around the woods for berries and nuts to eat while dressed in varmint skins. Why is that?

Oh yeah.. I forgot. It's because of the Blacks. He's an expert on Black people. I know this because he told me so by e-mail! Apparently, he works with a couple of Blacks and even lives in the same neighborhood with a few, so that imbues him with with a special insight. I bet he's even got one on the front lawn.

But I digress. Look A-man. I've read enough of your madness to not take it seriously. That is, until you turned prison bitch and started spamming more ignorance. You're a god-damned, ice-cream soft pussy of a man with some serious self-esteem issues. No wonder people think you're racist. That much is clear from reading your musings on Blacks thinking alike and so forth. Do yourself a favor and line dance your narrow ass to one of your Black neighbors and ask them how do they deal with all the supposed advantages they've been getting. You know... the systemic police harassment; the inferior schools, the economic discrimination. (And let's not forget the occasional cross-burnings.)

Ask those Blacks who vote why they vote and I'm sure they'll tell you to the person their choices are motivated by those candidates they believe will uphold their interests. Kind of like how the Whiteys do it. (Or at least those Whites that still believe the Lotts, Bushes and Ehrlichs actually give a warm turd about them.) Even Jackson and Sharpton's constituency can be explained from both men's history of putting their lives in serious danger... repeatedly... on behalf of others. Affirmative Action recipient Clarence Thomas' biggest risk is Scalia coming to a sudden stop.

If you don't want to be perceived as a stupid cracker, stop playing the role.

I just had to, really.

How come every other non white race in America is more successful than the American black over 100 years after Emancipation? Even the Hmong, who were near stone age living in Vietnam until they had to flee, have their shrimp boats, little shops etc. Bow and arrows to owing an American business in 40 years. Not too darn bad.

There's some interesting stats out their that suggest that non-American blacks do significantly better than American blacks.

You're right. It's the "gimmes" that are holding American blacks back most of all.
