April 16, 2003more police brutalityI don't know why Rodney King can't just get along with the police department. Rodney King, whose videotaped beating led to the deadly 1992 riots in Los Angeles, was hospitalized with a broken pelvis after he lost control of his SUV while weaving through traffic at 100 mph and crashed into a house, police said. You know what a cop's WORST NIGHTMARE has to be? Forget being shot by some gang-banger on crack or a fleeing armed robber. Forget being stabbed breaking up a domestic disturbance. No, the cop's worst nightmare is finding Rodney King fucked-up behind the wheel of a car. AGAIN! The only real mistake made during Rodney's original beating was when the officers didn't KILL HIS CRIMINAL ASS when they had the chance. How many deaths and disrupted lives and how many lost tax dollars is this purely shitheeled scumbag responsible for now? Make a criminal thug a milliionaire and guess what you get? A rich criminal thug. Police said they suspect that King was intoxicated, and a blood sample was drawn to determine his blood-alcohol level. Test results have not yet been released. Do ya think he was drunk? Really? Are you surprised that he WAS NOT arrested, since he has the only genuine "Get Out Of Jail Free" card in the United States? I'm not. If I were a cop, I wouldn't try to arrest him, either. He might attempt to resist. If he did, I'm letting him go. Some of the last ones who didn't went to federal prison.

You're worried about the Patriot Act but don't want the police to lose their god given right to beat the shit out of suspects? Did that training class confuse you? Rick Posted by: Rick on April 16, 2003 03:37 PMFunny how much of that incident wasn't caught on video -- and how little of what was, ever got shown on TV. Posted by: Kevin McGehee on April 16, 2003 06:59 PMRick... whatever, man. Wow... If my white cracker ass had been caught visibly intoxicated after running an Expedition into a house at 100 mph, I would have been arrested on the spot. Since cops are obviously racist against poor oppressed dark people and all that. Anyone here think that they wouldn't be sitting in jail waiting for the blood test to come back? This is so pathetic. Stupid lefties whine about out-of-control crime and lack of security against terrorism, but they're the ones who have tied the hands of law enforcement. The only reason King wasn't arrested was that he is a martyr, and if they did arrest him, LA would have gon up in flames again. And of course, we would be told by the lefties, once again, that we had to understand the plight of the looters and rioters, while they scream out the other side of their mouths about how we should be able to control the looting in Iraq, there's no reason for it, blah blah I'm gonna be fucking sick blah... Posted by: Pat on April 16, 2003 07:57 PMI don't think he was going anywhere with a broken pelvis so they weren't letting Rodney King get away with anything by not arresting him right away. He has a crushed pelvis, it's not like he can run anywhere. My guess is that the police were a little weary of arresting such a high profile guy who sued the crap out of their fellow men in uniform in the past. Since he had the crushed pelvis, they could afford to not risk false arrest, beatings, etc. by letting him get on the ambulance. IF it makes you feel any better Acidman, I bet the owners of that house (that Rodney King hit) sue him. Posted by: Melissa on April 17, 2003 01:43 AMMight it be smarter to let him go to the hospital at his expense rather than be taken into custody on LA city's accounts? If he's arrested, he's cared for by LAPD. He can always be arrested. The same is true for any number of white cracker asses. Posted by: Howard Cornell on April 18, 2003 09:59 AMPost a comment
